Q: Can I still register my unit with only a $100 deposit now that it is after February 1?
A: No, you must pay a deposit of $100/Scout to sign-up for Summer Camp after February 1.
Q: I have several Scouts attending Camp this summer, when registering for Merit Badges do all of the Scouts have to be paid $100 before I can register any of my Scouts?
A: No, as long as the individual you wish to sign-up for classes has paid their $100 in the system then you can register that individual. Individuals not yet paid to $100 by March 1, will not be able to register for classes until they pay that first $100.
Q: Do I have to register with my unit to attend Camp Barstow?
A: Yes and No. If you are coming with your Unit then yes you will need to register under your unit by way of reaching out to your unit leader. However, if you are wanting to attend camp a different week from your unit or a second week of camp without your unit then the Baden Powell (provisional/lone Scout) or Bounce Back (second, third, or even fourth week of camp) are the options best for you.
Q: I need to drop my Scout off at Camp prior to the Unit’s arrival for check-in on Sunday, what do I need to do?
A: First, please communicate with your Unit Leader in charge of checking-in your Unit upon arrival and give them the heads up. Second, while we do not generally allow individual drop offs outside of Baden Powell and Bounce Back Scouts, we can arrange for short-term supervision until your Unit arrives. Please email the Camp Director to make those arrangements.
