Camp Barstow has been blessed over the last decade with a dedicated volunteer corps of adults that spend one Saturday each month working on building projects. During these years they have totally transformed the infrastructure of camp with Adirondacks in every campsite. This year their focus is on building a large Adirondack in Edisto Campsite (Site #7) making it our “super site” with 40 youth bunks, a leader Adirondack and hammock camping. Below are pictures from their October 2019 work day.

“Great day last weekend working on projects for next summer. Every site now has hammock camping. The crew built this in Site 9, and we’ll be adding more. Site 7 is getting another Adirondack making it the Mega-Site with 40 youth Adirondack bunks, a leader Adirondack, and 52′ of hammock camping. Barstow is booming.”
